Are You Ready to Go the Distance?
We're raising $20,000 for emergency relief for 100 families in DRC.
What? Run, walk, bike, ski, skate, or row. Whatever you choose!
How? Go the distance alone or with a partner, pet, or group! However, you choose! (And represent with a WIB dry-fit Nike shirt while doing so!)
Where? Your neighborhood, school track, city park, or beach. Wherever you choose, know you are part of a greater community making a difference.
When? Between now and February 28th, raise money while you go the distance for families in DRC.
This year we are going the distance for families in Kibumba, DRC again, but the need is for more than clean water this time.
More than 72,000 people were displaced by fighting on May 22nd, 2022. Our construction teams, the local water committees, and beneficiaries of the rain catchment systems were displaced.
We're going the distance to provide emergency relief to help 100 families return home!
They need essentials such as beans, cooking oil, salt, firewood, saucepans, and jerrycans. Let's get them back home and back to their rain catchment systems. Help them get there!
$200 provides these essentials for one family.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for emergency relief for 100 households.
Will you go the distance with us? We'll make the fundraising part easy for you and provide all the tools you need. Don't let the fundraising part make you nervous! Once you set a goal, your friends and family will be glad to help and will feel good about doing good. Let's go the distance together!
