Here I go again!
Going the distance for clean water
On 2/19, I’m going the distance (running a 1/2 marathon in Ft. Lauderdale) for families in Kibumba, DRC again, but the need is for more than clean water this time.
More than 72,000 people were displaced by the M23 rebel group last year. Our construction teams, the local water committees, and beneficiaries of the rain catchment systems were displaced and living in temporary camps.
We're going the distance to provide emergency relief to help 100 families return home!
They need essentials such as beans, cooking oil, salt, firewood, saucepans, and jerrycans. Let's get them back home and back to their rain catchment systems. Help them get there!
$200 provides these essentials for one family.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for emergency relief for 100 households. Would you help me reach my personal goal of $5,000 towards our total?
