Once a year I get crazy enough to run a few races , 5k, 10k , and even a Half Marathon. Can I count on you to support me and this cause so close to my heart ?
Water is Basic supporters are going the distance for families in Kibumba, DRC, again this year, but the need is for more than clean water this time.
More than 72,000 people were displaced by fighting that broke out on May 22nd, 2022. Their construction teams, the local water committees, and beneficiaries of the rain catchment systems were displaced.
I've decided to go the distance with them to provide emergency relief to help 100 families return home!
They need basic essentials such as beans, cooking oil, salt, firewood, saucepans, jerrycans, and other small essentials. They have rain catchment systems to return to. Let’s help them get there!
$200 provides these essentials for one family. Our team goal is to raise $20,000 for 100 households.
