Most of you know that I work with an amazing organization that brings clean water to the toughest places on Earth. I visited South Sudan this past June, and had the privilege of meeting some of the families whose lives have been changed by clean water. This is what they told me:
"We can't believe that people on the other side of the world, that we've never met, care about us in this way. We're just so thankful."
"Thankful." Hmm.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to see if my friends (aka you guys) and I can bring another well to South Sudan. A water well is a huge deal; it means that 3,000 people will drink clean water for 20+ years. I'll ask you this: what else can you do today that can change the lives of thousands of people for two decades?
Enjoy your Thanksgiving, but show some love for these kids and families who would consider it a blessing to drink a glass of clean water today. Let's go!
