We are going the distance for clean water in South Sudan!
We are lacing up our running shoes this time to go the distance to raise money for clean water. Our goal is to raise $250 for Water is Basic by November 10th. This will go towards our team goal of $15,000 to bring clean water to boys and girls in South Sudan.
We support Water is Basic. They work in South Sudan to bring clean drinking water to the local villages by drilling new wells. A well in the village saves the women and children from having to walk many miles each day just to provide water for their families. We will be running a half marathon. The distance is 13.1 miles. Please consider supporting either one of us, or both of us, with a dollar a mile. ( $13.10 ) About the cost of going out to lunch, something most of us do without much thought. Together we will make a difference.
