The 5th grade class at South Elementary in Midland, TX is joining the Water is Basic community in becoming a Water Warrior to raise funds for the gift of clean water! Our goal is to raise funds so the team in South Sudan can repair broken water wells for the people returning home after the recent conflict. They need clean water, education, food, and PEACE.
Water is Basic is unique because it's a local organization, dreamt by South Sudanese and employed by South Sudanese. That means in times of conflict like now, the work continues.
