We can Restore 30 wells in South Sudan!

Y'all. I'm going to RUN a HALF MARATHON. This is not a joke, but it probably should be.

I'm running a half-marathon for a cause close to the heart of my family! My Aunt Carrie does some incredible work with the non-profit organization Water is Basic. It's been so exciting and interesting to watch her passion grow for the people of South Sudan, and to learn more about the needs there and see all the incredible growth that has already taken place! I'm going to do some fundraising as a part of Water is Basic's goal to repair 30 wells in South Sudan. My goal is to raise $1,250 by November 30th. That's the cost to repair a well!

Water is Basic is unique because it's a local organization, dreamt by South Sudanese and employed by South Sudanese. That means in times of conflict like now, the work continues. They just need the funds to keep going! I feel completely comfortable and encouraged to know that the work done by Water is Basic is truly for the good of local people. There is no fishy business going on here, and the real beneficiaries of fundraising and the work done by Water is Basic is the South Sudanese
